As part of its effort to promote the community's resurgence from the woes of the COVID19 pandemic, the LGU-Pilar, through the Office of the Local Civil Registrar, launched KASALANG BAYAN 2022 last June 17, 2022 at the Pilar Convention Center. Mayor Charlie Pizarro officiated the solemnization of vows of thirty-four (34) couples, while observing health protocols under the new normal. Officials from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) were also present to witness the occasion, and they praised the event for being well planned and evidently organized.
